Thank you everyone for attending! Sorry I forgot to do the ASP.NET validation demo, but it’s in the code in the List.aspx page of the sample application. Oh yeah, and here is the link to David Hayden’s excellent tutorials on Enterprise Library 3.0.

ASP.NET 2.0 Webcast Series

MSDN is hosting a huge round of ASP.NET 2.0 webcasts beginning on 2/20/2006 and running through 4/16/2006. I will be doing a webcast for this series on 3/14/2006 titled Leveraging the Enterprise Library in Your Site from 12-1 PM PST.

For those who are not familiar with the Microsoft Enterprise Library, it is a code library of application blocks, which are reusable, extensible source-code components that provide guidance for common development challenges.

My presentation will focus on how to best utilize the new Enterprise Library 2.0 in your ASP.NET 2.0 web applications, specifically on how to use the Caching, Configuration, Cryptography, Data Access, Exception Handling, Logging & Instrumentation, and Security blocks. You will learn how to take advantage of the best practices that are in-grained in the library while at the same time limiting the amount of code that you had to write previously for common tasks in web applications.
